I’m Ángela, UX/UI Designer | Web Designer | Visual Designer based in Madrid with +3 years of experience creating digital experiences for companies and entrepreneurs.

Creative process

I rely on methodology and organisation to come up with evidence-based and data-backed solutions.

Understand

This phase is more about listening and asking questions, because two different businesses, even if they are in the same sector, do not necessarily face the same challenges. I define needs, challenges, and scope of the project.

Research

I identify the starting point of the project. I gather information from various sources and analyse the competition to discover mistakes to avoid and opportunities for improvement.

Definition and validation

I start designing, in an organised and phased manner, from the paper sketch to the low-fi and high-fi wireframes. I establish stages to validate what has been built so far and iterate again if necessary.

Launch

Once the design is validated, I custom build it in the chosen format or platform and launch or deliver the digital product.

Impact and results

What improvements has the final result brought with respect to the initial state? I analyse the metrics to confirm that the proposed solution has meant an improvement in usability, communication of business values, aesthetics, efficiency and obtaining customers or visits.

...And always, with a lot of heart

Following an order and a methodology is vital, but I also believe in doing things with love and an eye for detail. Many of my best decisions are the result of the intuition that experience gives me.
